Descender rescue device AG 10 SPersons working at height can descend using the descender device AG 10 S. The descender device AG 10 S is not a fall arrester. The descender device AG 10 S provides the option of either fixing the device to an anchorage point and descending with the help of another person using the device (a person descending with an accident victim) or fixing the rope end joints to an anchorage point and descending (persons can descend by moving the AG 10 S). The AG 10 S also has an additional manually operated brake that pauses the descent process (e.g. for avoiding an obstacle). The movement velocity is automatically controlled by a centrifugal brake (standard velocity approximately 0.5 m/s). The maximum descent height is 400 m and the maximum descent load is 150 kg.
