Descender rescue device AG 10Persons working at height can descend using the descender device AG 10. The descender device AG 10 is not a fall arrester. The descender device AG 10 provides the option of either fixing the device to an anchorage point and descending with the help of another person using the device (a person descending with an accident victim, e.g. in shuttle operation) or fixing the rope end joints to an anchorage point and descending (persons can descend by moving the AG 10). The following descending options are available: - Two persons descending simultaneously (max descent height 100 m, max descent load 225 kg)
- One person descending (max descent height 400 m, max descent load 150 kg)
- One person descending in shuttle operation (max descent height 400 m, max descent load 150 kg)
The movement velocity is automatically controlled by a centrifugal brake while descending (standard velocity approximately 0.7 m/s). EN 341 / CE 0158
