PEGASUS PROJECT

New Office & R&D Building for Söll in Hof

On April 2, all Sperian employees in Hof (Germany) were invited by Mr. Herbert Rieder (Director of Systems Operations for FP EMEA) to attend a meeting. He could proudly announce that the group had approved a project of Sperian Fall Protection that is to update and expand the research & administration buildings on its industrial site in Hof.

The project bears the name PEGASUS.

The Hof site is already an outstanding contributor to the group in terms of cash and expertise. Pegasus will enable Hof to solve its space problems in order to continue to play a central role in the globalizing of the group’s permanent anchorage systems business.

The office space will be extended from 423 m² up to 769 m². The new building will bring every expert on site under one roof, freeing space for a rapid prototyping unit to be created. It will dress the Hof site up in order to offer an attractive showpiece to customers as well as to current and potential employees.

Pegasus is part of a bigger plan to:
- strengthen end-users intimacy
- attract system experts working for us around the world
- make Hof a red point on a map where you either like to work or want to be customer
- have a base generating ideas, promoting creativity, implementing strategies
- provide more than excellent customer support & products

Pegasus will ultimately make Sperian customers feel as distinguished guests in our premises, as: if we don't pamper them, somebody else will!

How it looks like today…

… and how it will look like in 2009.

The construction has started as planned in July. The project will last for approximately one year.
